The 25th of January at the Moscow Headquarters of the Russian Geographical Society there will be held a meeting of the Youth Intellectual Club. The theme of the event is the following: «Actual problems of volunteer youth expeditions».
The Youth Intellectual Club of the Russian Geographical Society was established in 2015. It unites interested and ambitious students, post-graduate students and young specialists interested in the problems of the development of Russia. Anyone aged from 14 to 35 years who wishes to participate in the activity of the Club may do that.
The meeting will take place in a format of team debates, where each participant will have the opportunity to express his point of view. Young people will discuss what objects from unexamined in our country can become places of expeditions, offer their own routes and develop a program of activities that could later become an integral part of every scientific journey.

Within the framework of the meeting there will also be a presentation of the field season of the Russian Geographical Society in 2017, in particular, such projects as «Hogland», «Acre - the ancient city of Bosporus», «The secrets of the ancient artists of Siberia», «Commander Islands-2017» and the others.
In addition, everyone can participate in the master class «Photography in the conditions of the expedition».
