June 23, the Day of the Russian Geographical Society will take place in the Moscow Kuzminki Park. Anyone may take part in quizzes, quests, visit lectures, workshops and film shows.
Winner of one of the categories of the Best Guide of Russia contest Anton Shkurin will hold a lecture about the Crimean peninsula. Elena Chirkova, an expert of the Belogorye Reserve, will explain how to help Russia’s specially protected natural areas. Researcher of the Darwin museum Yaroslav Popov will speak about dinosaurs.

Visitors will be able to take part in exciting practical classes. For example, at the workshop ‘Building an ancient Russian town’ it will be possible to draw a map of some territory and build a town.
Visitors will play exciting games and take part in various competitions and quizzes. The children's drawings contest "We protect nature" will be held and author of the best picture will receive a prize.

Guests will be able to watch the documentary "Gombojab Tsybikov. A pilgrim of special assignment” about a dangerous and fascinating journey of the Russian explorer to the mysterious capital of Tibet. And children will enjoy cartoons of the series "Multi-Russia".
Moreover, photos of finalists of the Most Beautiful Country photo contest will be exhibited at the festival. It will present unique images of the underwater world, wild animals, natural and cultural attractions of Russia.
