October 19, employees of the Executive Directorate of the Russian Geographical Society visited the Dmitrov orphanage. They presented the award to a finalist of "The Best Guide of Russia" contest, a graduate of the boarding school, Philipp Batenin, and they also talked with the children from this educational institution.
"The Best Guide of Russia" competition was held from April 16 to August 20, 2018. Philipp Batenin was among the finalists. His video about the history of the boarding school took the second prize in the Amateur guide under 18 category. In addition, the jury decided to award Philipp Batenin and Evgenia Malyshko a special prize.

Philipp received a certificate for the purchase of electronic equipment and a collection of travel books. He thanked the Russian Geographical Society for the opportunity to express himself. According to Philipp, he does not plan to stop and will continue to shoot videos, and he wants to become a sports commentator in the future.
