Seven hundred participants of the competition of the Russian Seographical Society "The best guide of Russia" have sent videos with their unique excursion. These short films have created comprehensive view about Russia. Sit down, take a big cup of tea – timing of all videos is more than twenty hours. And enjoy the show! Then vote for the best guide. Who will be in the final of competition, it depends on you.
The 31st of July there has completed the acceptance of applications. The participants have shown their skills, it's your turn now! Support the authors of the most exciting, in your opinion, videos. Audience votes on the website лучшийгид.рф and on the channel of the competition on youtube, it will be completed until the 15th of August. Your votes on both sites will be added up. The leaders of the popular voting will become finalists. A jury will consider their works. The jury includes the Adviser to the President of the Russian Geographical Society for information policy Anastasia Chernobrovina, editor in chief of the "My planet" TV channel Nicholas Tabachnikov, journalist Mikhail Kozhukhov, the President of the Association of guides-interpreters, tour guides and tour managers Alexander Osipov and many other eminent experts.
The contest has five nominations: "Guide-professional. Museum", "Guide-professional. City", "Guide-professional. Explorer", "Guide-enthusiast", "Guide. To 18 years". The narratives of the contestants include rare facts, amazing stories, poetry and lyrics, fun and drive, and always – love and pride of their small motherland. Contenders for the title of "The best guide of Russia" perform in historical and national costumes, read poetry, demonstrate the local dialect, speak alone and give the word to neighbors, record a video using a monopod for selfie and drone.
