The Geographer Magazine of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society is looking for authors. This geographical magazine has been published quarterly by the Scottish society since 2009. Students, postgraduates and scientists willing to share their research and knowledge about the Arctic are invited to cooperate.

To be published in The Geographer Magazine, you need to email an article on Arctic exploration to rgoatrgo.ru no later than 21 Nov 2018 (with the subject “RSGS”, and be sure to provide the author’s contacts). The article should be in Russian and English, about 700 words. If the decision is taken to publish the article, representatives of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society or the Russian Geographical Society will contact the author.

The Scottish Geographical Society was founded by Henry Morton Stanley, a British journalist and a famous traveler and explorer of Africa on December 4, 1884. In 1887 the Society was given the Royal status. The Scottish Geographical Society is now an educational charity organization that works with a wide range of partners, from youth and community groups to academics and policy makers. Its aim is to inform, inspire and encourage people to have an interest in geographical sciences.
