The Youth Intellectual Club meeting will take place the 27th of January. The theme of the meeting is expected to be «Globalization and preservation of cultural identity in the modern world».
In the up-to-date conditions, when the globalization influences everyone, to what extent is it important to preserve the cultural identity? Is the monoculture world possible, and what will it be like? The participants of the meeting are going to give their answer to this and the other questions.
The young scientists, students and aspirants will have an opportunity to express their own point of view in the context of this problem, and to listen to the competent opinion of the invited experts, amongst who are the employee of the National Research University «The Higher School of Economics» and of the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Science Andrey Kozhanov and the Deputy director of The Institute of Politics and Law of the Moscow State Pedagogical University Vladimir Shapovalov.
The organizer of the event is the Youth Center of the Russian Geographical Society with the support of Coordination Council on Youth Affairs in the scientific and educational spheres under the President of the Russian Federation for Science and Education of the Faculty of global processes of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
