The Russian Geographical Society's grant competition-2015 started October 31, 2014. Applications could be submitted through the online system grant.rgo.ru until November 30, 2014.
Any person or organization could apply for a grant.
2000 applications have been submitted to the Russian Geographical Society during the application period. For more details see Grant Competition of the Russian Geographical Society.
Regional experts started examination of documents on December 1. Regional expertise will last until December 21. After that applications that receive highest scores will be turned over to the Expert Council of the Russian Geographical Society.
Grant competition is scheduled to be finalized by February 2015.
