«The most beautiful country» in Armavir

An exhibition of the works of the winners and finalists of the photo contest of the Russian Geographical Society «The most beautiful country» there was held at the exhibition hall of the Dangulov House in Armavir (Krasnodar Krai). The exposition presents pictures of the following nominations: «Peoples of Russia», «Underwater World», «Animals», «Birds», «Industrial Landscape», «Protected Russia» and «The Escaping Heritage».

The vernissage was held with the participation of the deputies of the Armavir City Duma, representatives of the administration and national communities of the city, journalists and local residents.

Photo contest «The Most Beautiful Country» is a large-scale media project of the Society aimed at preserving the natural and cultural heritage of Russia and fostering respect for the environment through the art of photography. In the rules of the competition there are no restrictions on the age and place of residence of participants. The main condition - the pictures should be made only on the territory of our country. The first photo contest took place in 2015. At the present moment on the website photo.rgo.ru is being held the acceptance of works for the IV photo competition of the Russian Geographical Society.

We would note as well that the best pictures of our country according to the Russian Geographical Society can be admired in Russia and abroad. Thus, about 7 million people visited the exhibitions of the of the competition works. In the Kuban the exposition was first presented in Krasnodar, at the Legislative Assembly of the region.
