The all-Russian contest for participation in the profile changes of the Russian Geographical Society in international and all-Russian children`s centers «Orlyonok», «Artek», «Ocean», «Smena» has been held since the 18th of February of 2016.
The acceptance of applications for participation in the profile change of the Russian Geographical Society in the All-Russian Children`s Center «Smena» was completed the 31st of March. The names of the winners of the competitive selection have become known today. The change will be held from the 12th of May to the 25th of May, 2016.
The All-Russian Children`s Center «Smena» is located in one of the most picturesque places of Russia – the Sukko village, between the Anapa town and the State natural reserve «Utrish». The «Smena», 12 kilometers remote from the town, is situated in the unique natural and climatic conditions, where you may enjoy healthy air, overlooking the mountains of the Caucasus ridge, juniper forests and beautiful landscapes of the area.
The children, who did not manage to visit «Smena» for various reasons, may apply for participation in the geographical changes in «Artek» and «Ocean». To take part in the competitive selection, you need to prepare portfolio, to register and apply for http://volunteer.rgo.ru site.
A very saturated and exciting summer is waiting for the winners. The children will take part in scientific and educational quests, will learn the basics of tourism and local history, and most important thing - they will be able to meet personally with the travelers, geographers, scientists, wildlife photographer and famous journalists. Sport orienting, work with the devices, cards, and a variety of puzzles and mysteries, - all that will help the young explorers to make friendship and to open the world of geography for themselves.
