An intensive specialized educational program "Nature Reserve School" has been completed in Kenozersky National Park in the Arkhangelsk Region. Several exciting workshops in natural sciences, which were attended by students of grades 8-10 from the Moscow Region, were organized by the educational center "Vzlet" and the Russian Geographical Society.

The specialized program allowed students to try themselves as a field researcher and immerse themselves in scientific activities in the following areas: biology, ecology, geography, and conservation. The participants got acquainted with the basics of environmental protection in Russia, mastered new methods of work in biogeography, geobotany, landscape science, and other disciplines.

“The kids were interested in gaining new knowledge, and the teachers did everything possible for this. The theory was always supported by practice. Despite the complexity of the field work, all the students did an excellent job. As a curator, it was interesting for me to work with motivated and cheerful people. Such trips help not only to contribute to the pool of knowledge, but also to find loyal friends," said Daria Semenova, curator of the educational program.
