On May 27, the Russian Geographical Society took part in the Primakov School Book Fest. The event was organized by E. M. Primakov Gymnasium.
The guests and participants of the event were presented with the educational and entertainment website "World of Geography", a collection of reprints of the original publications of the RGS of the 19th century, as well as fascinating master classes.
As part of the presentation of the website "World of Geography", videos and lessons for which were created using VR technologies, festival guests were able to virtually communicate with famous historical figures, watch the RGS’s film "Russia: A Virtual Tour" at the VR cinema, visit the VR-website of the museum and exhibition complex of the RGS "Konstantinovskaya battery". A number of modern books and photo albums related to travel and geography have supplemented the collection of reprints of the original RGS’s publications of the 19th century.

All participants of the event had the opportunity to purchase branded products of the Russian Geographical Society from the RGS store.
