"Snow Country" Photo Exhibition In Moscow

In the Moscow Vorontsovo estate park you can find bisons, wolverines and Siberian tigers; photographs of these animals. A photo exhibition of the Russian Geographical Society "Snow country" opened there November 22.

Twenty pictures by the Most Beautiful Country photo contest participants show wild animals in winter: a snow hare next to a dangerous leopard hunter, and white swans on the lake with a wise owl. To take these photographs, famous Russian photographers went to the land of Franz Josef and Kamchatka, to Yakutia and the Amur region, to Chukotka and the Commanders.

The exhibition will run until January 31.

It should be reminded that photos of The Most Beautiful Country are also exhibited in Moscow Dzhamgarovsky and Babushkinsky parks. You can admire the best photos in the Old Arbat. The photo contest “The Most Beautiful Country” is a media project of the Russian Geographical Society, in which tens of thousands of photographers annually participate. The competition is dedicated to the preservation of Russian wildlife and the promotion of respect for the environment. It was first held in 2015. During the four years of existence of the competition, about 400 thousand pictures were uploaded to the site of the photo.rgo.ru project. The rules of creative competition are not limited by age and place of residence of participants. The main condition is that photos should be taken only in Russia. Exhibitions of works by photo contest participants are regularly held in this country and abroad.
