The Ural leopard

June 1, an interregional tourist project "Ural Leopard", organized by a branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Bashkortostan, was launched.

Everyone who wants to take part in the project, successfully complete it and receive a badge "Ural Leopard" is supposed to go through two stages.

The first is the ascent to seven mountain peaks located in the republic, the height of which is 1000 meters or more: Iremel (or Transverse), Rasypnaya, Yalangas, Kumardak, Kurtashtau, Kushai, Masim. Participants of the project, who will pass the first stage, are given certificates and bronze badges "7 peaks".

The second stage of the project includes the passage of special tourist routes in the Southern Urals, developed and approved in 2018.

The unique badge "Ural Leopard" will be given to participants who will successfully complete both stages.

Russian and foreign citizens under 18 ages (children from 12 years should be accompanied by parents or an instructor) may submit. Sufficient physical preparation for the passage of the routes is required. Each group or individual participant should be equipped with group and personal tourist equipment, first-aid kit; clothing according to weather, and are obliged to notify the area of ​​the campaign, the dates of departure and return to the Emergency and Rescue Service of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
