The Krasnodar Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society has begun shooting the popular science film "The World of Discoveries." The picture will tell about the profile sessions of the Russian Geographical Societies in federal children's centers «Artek», «Orlyonok», «Smena» and «Ocean».

Producer of the film is the chairman of the Krasnodar Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, the member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Ivan Chaika, director - Mikhail Kuzovenkov, script writer - Nikolay Marchenko.
The audience will be able to learn about the amazing world of discoveries and knowledge, which for children on camp sites are created by specialists of the Russian Geographical Society. Within the frames of the profile sessions the young geographers are participating in scientific and educational quests, they observe the state of the environment, they study the basics of tourism and local history, they are meeting famous travelers, scientists, photographers and the journalists.

The idea of conducting profile changes of the Company in the largest children's centers of Russia was first realized in 2015. The organization of the profile sessions "The World of Discoveries" is carried out by the Krasnodar Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society. The main objective of the project is preservation and augmentation of intellectual potential of Russia. To get on vacation, combined with the study of geography, the guys participate in the contest and they are preparing a portfolio, confirming their successes in geography and related sciences with diplomas of competitions and olympiads.
