Dezhnev Award

About the award 

S.I. Dezhnev Award is awarded annually for best scientific proceedings and research on the geography of Northeast Asia, carried out within the last three years preceding the year of the next competition. This award may be adjudge exclusively for scientific works of Russian citizens and groups of authors. 

Works are submitted in Russian, printed electronically or in a typographic way. It is necessary to provide brief biographical information about authors with a list of major scientific publications. 

The funds necessary for the payment of Dezhnev Award are assigned to the Russian Geographical Society by providing corresponding grants. The decision to award the Award is posted on the website of the Society. The award presented for teamwork with no indication of the proportion of the work of each author, is divided equally among all the authors.
