Tryoshnikov Gold Medal

The A.F. Tryoshnikov Gold Medal is awarded for expeditionary activity in the Arctic and Antarctic devoted to the study of its climatic features, which resulted in new scientific discoveries; for participation in the development of the polar regions; for scientific research in the Arctic which involve offshore and other mineral deposits in economic activities.
