A ceremony of signing an agreement on cooperation between the Russian Geographical Society and the Government of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic was held at the Moscow Headquarters of the Russian Geographical Society on March 25, 2019. It is aimed at joint activities in the field of popularization of geography, scientific and educational activities, ecology and environmental protection.

The document was signed by First Vice-President of the Russian Geographical Society Arthur Chilingarov and Acting Head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Kazbek Kokov. The event was attended by representatives of the Government of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and the leadership of the Executive Directorate of the Russian Geographical Society.
