At the Headquarters of the Russian Geographical Society in St. Petersburg, the exhibition «Baltic Shores, Vyborg» was open. Painting, graphics and photography - three components of the exposition, organized by the creative association «The Enchanted Wanderer» of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists with the support of the Leningrad Regional Branch of the Russian Society of Artists with the support of the Leningrad regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society.

The exhibition presents more than 40 works devoted to the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the Baltic region, places associated with the life of outstanding compatriots. Pictures and photos convey the charm of nature, the beauty of the architecture of the Northern Art Nouveau, narrow streets and historical buildings, having seen a lot in their time.

The audience will be able to see the works of 25 authors, many of whom are being the members of the Russian Geographical Society.

«The exhibition at the Russian Geographical Society – is a significant event for us, we are grateful to the directors of the Society for an opportunity to carry on cooperation and show our new works», - the Chairman of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists Alexander Saikov emphasized.

It should be noted that this is not the first exposition organized by the Russian Geographical Society together with the Union of Artists. The visitors of the Headquarters remember the following projects: «Origins», «The Old Ladoga. Origins», «Izborsk. Origins», «On the way to Lomonosov», which took place within the walls of the historical building of the Society in 2012-2015.

The exhibition «The Baltic coast. Vyborg» is open at the Small Hall of the Headquarters of the Russian Geographical Society in St. Petersburg til March 2.
