The Russian Geographical Society announces of extension of contest for participation in the profile change of the Society in the All-Russian Children's Center «Smena» in 2016. The applications will be received till he 31st of March inclusively.
The All-Russian Children's Center «Smena» opened its doors the 1st of June of 1985 and is being the one of the four flagships of children's recreation in Russia along with the «Artek» center in Crimea, «Orlenok» in Tuapse region of Krasnodar Territory and «Ocean» center in Vladivostok.
The All-Russian Children's Center «Smena» is situated in one of the most picturesque places of Russia – the Sukkah village between the Anapa town and the State Natural Reserve «Utrish». Remote 12 kilometers from the city, «Smena» is situated in unique climatic conditions, where you may enjoy healthy air, the sight of Caucasian ridge mountains, juniper forests and beautiful landscapes of the area.
To participate in the profile change of the Society there are invited children of the following age: from 10 to 17 years old. They will have an opportunity to plunge into the world of geography: to become part of the biggest team of young researchers, to visit the sightseeing tours, to get to know a lot of new at the meetings with famous TV-presenters, travelers, to get acquainted with the descendants of the great Russian explorers. And that is just the part of interesting and saturated program.
