Two weeks remain until the end of the application campaign for the Crystal Compass National Award. Scientific and educational institutions, creative unions, domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises, as well as independent initiative groups, public figures and individuals can submit their applications for participation in the prestigious international competition until February 20. The most outstanding achievements and unique projects in the field of science and culture, expedition and educational activities, preservation and popularization of natural, historical, and cultural heritage will be determined in 2023 for the 11th time.
The owners of the crystal statuettes will be selected in 10 categories: "Scientific Achievement", "Journey and Expedition", "Education", "Best Mass Media Project, Media Project", "Photography", "Civic Participation", "Publication", "The Best Regional Project", "The Best Socio-informational Project for the Preservation of Natural, Historical, and Cultural Heritage", "The Best Environmental Project of Industrial Enterprises, Businesses".
When the application campaign is over, all projects will be evaluated during the qualification selection. The applications will be considered by the members of the expert council of the award. The jury consists of reputable scientists, well-known state and public figures, representatives of business and the media.

The Crystal Compass National Award is a prestigious international award that is given to the authors of outstanding achievements and unique projects aimed at preserving the natural, historical, and cultural heritage of Russia. 3,312 projects and unique achievements from 44 countries of the world have been nominated for the award in ten years. More than 2.3 million people expressed their preferences in the special category "Public Recognition", where the winner is determined by Internet voting.
The winners of the 10th, anniversary, Crystal Compass Award were awarded on December 8 at the Moscow International House of Music. The ceremony became a landmark event in the cultural and scientific life of the country, bringing together famous scientists, artists, public figures, travelers, people who are not indifferent to the future of our common planet from Russia, France, Serbia, and other countries.
