On November 5 at the Russian Geographical Society Festival in the zone of science and education (DNK zone) environmental issues and issues of geographical education will be discussed.
So, at 10:30, «Preservation of migratory birds» roundtable will be held, which will be attended by the majority of leading Russian ornithologists, as well as representatives of public organizations. They will discuss the strategy of waterfowl population recovery (waterfowl population includes all game geese and ducks), and day birds of prey.
At 13:00 Professor at the Department of Economic and Social Geography, Moscow State Pedagogical University, Alexander Lobjanidze will speak about the problems of school geography education.
At 13:45 Head of the Department of socio-economic geography of foreign countries, Faculty of Geography, Moscow State University, Alexey Naumov will hold a lecture. Mr. Naumov will share the secrets of preparation for geographical competitions: "Geographical Olympiads: how to prepare and how to win."
Up next meeting with the head of the Department of physical and evolutionary geography, Saint Petersburg State University, Kirill Chistyakov and Professor at the Department of Economic and Social Geography, Moscow State Pedagogical University, Alexander Lobjanidze.
At 16:00 a roundtable starts with the participation of directors of famous Russian reserves. They will consider a program of activities to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Russian reserve system establishmnt. This anniversary will be celebrated in 2016.
