Let’s remind that since 2016 the Society has put thematic graffiti drawings in different cities of this country. Thus, an image of a polar owl from Wrangel Island, based on the photo of Sergei Gorshkov, appeared at the corner of Arbat and Serebryany pereulok in Moscow. In March 2017, "Little Varg" appeared on the wall at the entrance to the metro station "Tretyakovskaya". This is an image of a boy and his faithful friend – a hand peregrine falcon. The photo was taken on the Taz Peninsula by photographer Alexander Romanov.

Within the III Festival of the Russian Geographical Society, a graffiti contest was also held. The best artist from those who painted sketches during the festival was Maxim Kasatkin and his picture "The Soul of Russia". This image is planned to become an art object in one of the Russian cities.
