Viktoriya Chernysheva, the head of the Russian Geographical Society youth club in the Lipetsk region and a geography teacher of gymnasium N12, has won the Teacher of the Year city competition. At the competition, Victoria Chernysheva showed both professional skills and steadfastness and restraint. The contest was held in several stages. Teachers had to answer jury questions, write essays, teach a lesson in an unfamiliar class, talk with pupils, discuss important problems of education and create their own web page.

Students always hurry to lessons of Victoria Chernysheva. They are enthusiastic about geography – take part in different projects and olympiads of various levels.

Victoria admits that only through such a wonderful advisor who knows how to inspire, a wonderful team of colleagues and, of course, children, her participation in the contest has become real.

Asked what she expects from the victory, Victoria replied: "I want to believe that participation in the contest of three geography teachers from our region will make us pay special attention to the subject. Geography can and should become one of the most fascinating school subjects. "

Congratulations to Victoria Chernysheva on winning the contest and we wish her further  professional achievements!
