Today in the Tromso city (Norway) within the frames of annual international conference «The Arctic frontiers – 2017», starts its work the Second International Arctic Students` Forum. There will take part students from Russia, Norway, Canada, Finland, Great Britain, France, Italy, Holland, Peru, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine and the USA in the event.
Our country will be presented at the forum by the students-winners of the competition, having been held by the Russian Geographical Society jointly with the Norwegian research company «Akvaplan Niva».
A very saturated program is waiting for the participants of the Forum. In particular, the children will take part in the meetings of the political, scientific and business sections of the «Arctic Frontiers», where they will have an opportunity to communicate with the representatives of scientific and business circles of the countries - members of the Arctic Council directly.
In the last day of the work of the Forum, the 25th of January, its participants will be defending before the jury their projects, dedicated to sustainable development of the Arctic region.
