On December 15, the thematic photo exhibition of the Russian Geographical Society "Faces of Russia: Indigenous and Small-Numbered Peoples" opened in the Department of Nature of the Kostroma Museum-Reserve. The exposition, prepared by the Kostroma branch of the RGS, presents 26 works by participants of the annual contest "The Most Beautiful Country".

The main purpose of the exhibition "Faces of Russia" is to acquaint residents of the Kostroma region, especially young people, with the culture, traditions and way of life of the peoples of our multinational country. Hundreds of small indigenous peoples live in the vast expanses of the Extreme North and the Far East, Siberia and the Urals, the Volga Region and the Black Sea region.
