The Russian Geographical Society invites students of High School, 14-17 years old, to participate in the competitive selection for the international youth forum "Artek-2017". The event will be held from October 19 to November 9, 2017 in the Crimea. The students will be acquainted with the media sphere, and will be told about new technologies in the media at the forum.
The organizer of the project is the League of young journalists, that is being a member of the Union of journalists of Russia. It consolidates more than 20,000 young journalists from 43 regions of Russia, more than 100 editorials of the regional children's television and radio programs.
Within the frames of the forum the participants will listen to lectures and have master classes, they will write news texts, they will be offering their ideas for future media projects and they will share their knowledge and experience in geography and ecology with other students.
In addition, "Artek-2017" will give a unique opportunity for the most active participants to become a presenter of various media projects and participate in the video shooting. Representatives of the leading Federal mass media, science and culture organizations will help the students.
To participate in the contest, you must send the application form until July 31, 2017. The winners will receive a free ticket to "Artek".
The organizer won't pay travel expenses for winners and their parents (legal representatives).
