The 10th of March there is started the receipt of applications for media grants of the Russian Geographical Society. The chairman of the Media Council of the Russian Geographical Society Dmitry Peskov told at the press-conference in the Headquarters of the Society in Moscow today about the start of the media grant contest.
The applications for media grants will be received from 10th of March to the 1st of April, 2016 inclusively.
The rules of the media grant contest are changed this year. The integral part of it will be the media support of the initiatives of the Russian Geographical Society.
«It is very important for us the films and other products you are going to offer to tell about the expeditions of the Society, its history, unique geographical potential and heritage of Russia, - Dmitry Peskov emphasized. – You may get acquainted with the list of themes recommended for the media coverage on the website of the Russian Geographical Society, and think how to make them the leitmotif of your reports and programs, documental films, etc. The more original idea is, the more chances to get the media grant of the Russian Geographical Society you have».
