The tenderness of dawn, the fragility of a butterfly, beauty of the light refracted in a drop of dew, - everything that remains unnoticed in everyday life unavailable to the unaided eye, our photo artists, winners and finalists of the All-Russian photo contest of the Russian Geographical Society «The most beautiful country» have shown.

Their works can be admired in the metropolitan parks at any time, moving at the same time for thousands of kilometers – to the valley of Mizhirga, to the Kuril Lake, to Rostov and Novosibirsk regions, to Primorye or to the Republic of Buryatia.

Professional photos, having been created with great love to the country and to the small homeland, are giving an opportunity to relive magical moments – few seconds, from the idea to the click of the camera, after which the pristine nature and inhabitants of our planet freeze in touching, funny and unusual pictures.

«Picturesque macro world» - that is the name of the exhibition open on the eve in the Vorontsovo Estate (Vorontsovsky Park, 3). The exhibition introduces a small universe, which is hard to see with the naked eye. The exhibition features works by nineteen photo artists who specialize in macro photography. Photos reveal the invisible beauty, complex organization and structure of the macrocosm, focus on the details, on the drawing and texture of the object, helping to see the subject in a new way. The exhibition will be held till the 8th of August.
«The Most beautiful country» photo contest is a scale media project of the Russian Geographical Society, aimed at the maintenance of nature of Russia and fostering respect for the environment through the art of photography. The photo contest first took place in 2015 and caused a wide public response. More than 25 thousand people took part in it. The youngest participant was 4 years old, ane the oldest was 98. The contest has become annual since 2016.
«Nature reserve Russia» - is one more photo exhibition, based on the photo competition of the Russian Geographical Society «The most beautiful country».

The unique shots of the wild nature – there are only twenty of them – have made the base of the exposition. The inhabitants of the most remote corners of our country settled in the Park of Culture and Rest of the 850th Anniversary of Moscow (Mariinsky Park street, possession 10, bld. 4) till the 31st of August.

There have been presented the works of the finalists and the winners of «The most beautiful country» photo contest of the Russian Geographical Society in other nomination – «The animals of Russia» in the «Perovskiy» Park of Culture and Leisure (Lazo street, possession 7). For creation of these shots the photographers had to get to the most hard-to-reach corners of Russia, follow the trail and wait for a good moment, sometimes even risking their lives!

Thus, Along with newly opened exhibition there are being held photo exhibitions of the Russian Geographical Society in four parks of the capital at the same time!
The «Lianozovsky» Park of Culture and Rest (Uglichskaya street, 13) – till the 1st of September there is being held the «Nature reserve Russia» exhibition.
The Vorontsovo Estate (Vorontsovsky Park, 3) – till the 8th of August there is being held «The picturesque macro world» exhibition.
In the Park of Culture and Rest of the 850th Anniversary of Moscow (Mariinsky Park street, possession 10, bld. 4) – till the 31st of August there is being held «Pristine Russia» exhibition.
Park of culture and rest «Perovskiy» (Lazo street, possession 7) – till the 31st of August there is being held the exhibition «Animals of Russia».

Besides, the works of the winners and the finalists of the photo contest «The most beautiful country» can be seen in the Presidential Library named after B.N. Yeltsin (till the 31st of August), in the third terminal of the Vnukovo Airport (till the 10th of September), in the Salyut cinema (till the 6th of August) and in the Coffeemania restaurant (Bolshaya Nikitskaya street, 13).
