Today, March 2, exhibitions of photos of finalists and participants in the III Photo Contest of the Russian Geographical Society, The Most Beautiful Country, have been opened on the Arbat and Chistoprudny Boulevard in Moscow. 

The Most Beautiful Country Photo Contest is large-scale media project of the Russian Geographical Society, aimed at preserving the nature of Russia and promoting an attitude of care towards the environment. There are no age or location limits to enter the contest. The main condition is that photos should have been taken in the territory of Russia.

 Submission of entries to the VI Photo Contest is now open through March 31, 2018 at photo.rgo.ru.

On the Arbat you can enjoy images of Chamchatka and the Republic of Altai, “visit” Yamal reindeer herders and farmers from the Arkhangelsk region, look at wolverines and saigas - here photos of the following categories are exhibited: "The most beautiful country, Landscape", "Peoples of Russia", "Young photographers" and "Wild animals".

Chistoprudny Boulevard is decorated with pictures from categories: "Cultural Heritage of Russia", "From Dusk Till Dawn" and "Caves of Russia".

Residents and visitors to Moscow can see a mysterious "City of the Dead" in North Ossetia and starry skies above the Manpupuner rock formations in the Komi Republic, and they will learn what is hidden in the enigmatic "dungeons" of our country.

Please be aware that the Most Beautiful Country exhibition is also open on Nikitsky Boulevard in Moscow. Here you can see photos from “Underwater world”, “Birds” and “Russia in the Bird’s-Eye View”.

Exhibitions on the Arbat, Chistoprudny and Nikitsky Boulevards are open through March 31.
