Dear organizers and leaders of the Geographical Dictation venues!
We draw your attention to the fact that in accordance with the clauses 4.5, 4.7, 4.9 of the Regulations on the annual international educational event "Geographical Dictation" (hereinafter – the Dictation), each platform is responsible for organizing and conducting the Dictation. Responsibility for compliance with the regulations of state authorities and departments of Rospotrebnadzor of the relevant constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as the principles and procedure for conducting the Dictation lies with the venue manager.
The Russian Geographical Society encourages each Dictation venue to hold an event in strict accordance with the recommendations and requirements of government authorities and Rospotrebnadzor departments of the relevant constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
For safety reasons in the current conditions, the Russian Geographical Society recommends that open in-person Dictation venues (at which any participant can register) conduct the event in a remote format. For closed in-person venues, it is necessary to strictly observe the access control regime and prevent the presence of unauthorized persons at the venues. There will be no in-person venues organized directly by the Russian Geographical Society in 2020, including at Lomonosov Moscow State University.
