RGS Exhibition Opens At BRICS Events In Moscow

The representatives of the leaders of the BRICS member countries got acquainted with the exhibition of the Russian Geographical Society "The Most Beautiful Country" within the framework of the first meeting in 2024 in Moscow. The members of the delegations saw fascinating pictures of Russian nature taken in various parts of Russia.

The first meeting of the BRICS sherpas and su-sherpas in 2024 is taking place in Moscow from January 31 to February 1. In addition to representatives of Russia, Brazil, India, China, and South Africa, delegations of new members of the association – Egypt, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Ethiopia – were invited to it.

The RGS exhibition "The Most Beautiful Country" is open at the meeting. The participants of the meetings can get acquainted with the exhibition in between negotiations.

The photo contest of the Russian Geographical Society "The Most Beautiful Country" was held for the first time in 2015. In the first season, 25,000 of its participants sent in about 200,000 bright and unusual pictures. In eight years, the number of photos submitted to the jury has increased to 622,000.

Any person can become a participant in "The Most Beautiful Country" contest, regardless of place of residence, citizenship, and age. The only condition is that the photos submitted to the contest must be taken on the territory of Russia.

From January 18 to March 31, 2024, the Russian Geographical Society accepts works for the anniversary X Photo Contest "The Most Beautiful Country".

By the start of the anniversary contest, the RGS project "The Most Beautiful Country" had celebrated a relocation. On December 22, a new website was launched, which will become even more beautiful, informative, and user-friendly.
