RGS Invites to a Round Table on Water Resources

Russian Geographical Society (RGS) and National Association of Geographers, India (NAGI) will hold on 16th of July, 2020, at noon, the Roundtable discussion on a topic “Geographical Perspectives of Water Resources: Issues and Challenges”. Working language is English.

Russian side will be presented by the specialists from Moscow State University, Institute of Limnology of RAS, Water Problems Institute of RAS. From Indian side will participate specialists from Universities of Delhi, Rajasthan, Baroda, Bharathidasan and Indian Institute of Geomorphologists.

Participants will discuss the issues of modern ecological state of river basins, quality of drinking water, vulnerability factors of aquifer, wetland ecosystems, which undergo the climate changes today – from the South of India to the Russian Polar region.
