There took place the Road Show Visit Russia conference from the 8th to the 11th of April, 2017, in Al Kuwait city, Kuwait. The politicians, businessmen, touristic agencies, the leading media of Kuwait, Bahrain, Russia and the other countries, and the representatives of the Russian Geographical Society took part in the event on the promotion of Russian tourism potential.

Within the frames of the Conference the representative of the Russian Geographical Society Marina Zakharova made a report about the activities and the history of the Society, told about the perspectives of the international cooperation, about the importance of establishing contacts and developing joint global projects. She noted as well that the Russian Geographical Society would like to open its centers of development in the countries of the Middle East. The emphasize in her speech was made on that fact that the one of the key objectives of the Society at the present moment is being an international cooperation and the youth movement.

Besides, Marina Zakharova met with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Kuwait Alexei Solomatin. The Ambassador thanked the Russian Geographical Society for participation in the event.
