On August 12, the Charge d'affaires of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Yemen Evgeny Kudrov visited the Headquarters of the Russian Geographical Society in Moscow. Aleksandr Karandeev, Director of the Expert Analytics and International Affairs Department of the RGS, and Yulia Kalyuzhnaya, Executive Director of the Tomsk Regional Branch of the RGS, met with the representative of the diplomatic corps of the country.
During the visit, the potential for cooperation and the possibility of implementing joint projects in the territory of the Republic of Yemen and Saudi Arabia were discussed. The parties expressed mutual interest in the development of relations between the states in scientific, tourism, and educational activities.
