Active members of the Russian Geographical Society youth clubs have less than a week to apply for a summer internship in Serbia. Applications are accepted until May 23, 2018.

Both members and heads of RGS youth clubs aged 18 - 35 may apply.

Young men selected for the internship will spend two weeks, from July 1 to July 14, studying physical and geographical characteristics of the Kopaonik mountain range (the maximum height of ascent is 2000 meters). They will also visit tourist, industrial, agricultural places of regional and national importance, as well as participate in a business internship program.

Kopaonik is the largest mountain range in Serbia, extends from the northwest to the southeast for 80 km, located in the Raska and Rasinski districts.  The highest peak is Pančićev Vrh (at 2017 m).

As part of the program, young people will take part in masterclasses, workshop and lectures and will meet with experts in geography, representatives of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center and Center of the Russian Geographical Society in Serbia.

In addition, an extensive excursion program has been prepared for participants: visits to museums, galleries, historical centers and religious attractions of Serbian cities.

The organizers will provide free food and accommodation during the internship.  Participants will have to pay for tickets from Moscow to Belgrade and back themselves.

Applications are accepted until May 23, 2018.
