The results of the competition of the Russian Geographical Society for participation in the expeditions "Acre - the ancient city of Bosporus" and "Secrets of the ancient artists of Siberia" have been summarized.

We would like to remind you that the expedition "Acre - the ancient city of Bosporus" will be held from July 10 to August 10 in the Crimea. Volunteers will be divided into two groups: one of them will be engaged in ground operations, the second - with underwater archeology using special equipment. In addition to archaeological activities, the project program includes lectures by leading experts in the field of ancient history.

Archaeological excavations within the framework of the expedition "Secrets of the Ancient Artists of Siberia" will be held from 10 July to 10 August in the Republic of Khakassia. Volunteers will be able to participate in the completion of research on the most ancient part of the Itkol II burial ground. It is planned to complete excavations of the "elite" burial mound of the burial ground and to conduct a study of the adjacent territories in search of a memorial building, as well as to explore another large barrow that is part of Itkol II. It was here that unique finds of carved horny figures were made, which became world famous.
