TV viewers will see the most beautiful corners of Russian nature

In the framework of a joint environmental project of the Russian Geographical Society and the TV channel “Russia-1″ shootings of the unique nature of Kronotsky Nature Reserve and South Kamchatka Federal Reserve took place.

Bear fishing, salmon spawn, volcanoes and geysers, the seas, pristine rivers and lakes, the amazingly beautiful nature of the mountain tundra. Everything that Kamchatka is famous for, will be included into a series of highly artistic cross-program trailers shot in the most beautiful places of Russia in the framework of the “Expedition” project.

Scenes from the wildlife and unique scenery, captured by “Russia-1″ were created to promote the unique nature of our country and to attract more people to the conservation of natural heritage.

The head of the film crew – director, cameraman and writer Christian Baumeister. This is not his first time in Kamchatka. From 2006 to 2008, Baumeister was shotting Kronotskii nature reserve, South Kamchatka Federal Sanctuary and Nature Park “Volcanoes of Kamchatka”. Movies about wildlife – “Russia – the kingdom of tigers, bears and volcanoes”, “Myths of the Amazon”, “Wild Russia”, “Nature” – made the documentary filmmaker from Germany world-famous.

Among the members of the crew of the project are Christian Baumaystera’s assistant – Aitor Garcia Ausmendi, cameraman Ilya Lyubimov and producer Eugene Maharadze.

Since the beginning of 2014 material on the Kola Peninsula, Lake Baikal, Altai, Northern Caucasus, Western Siberia and Yakutia has been filmed. Preparations for filming in Chukotka, the Putoran, Northern Urals, Transbaikalia and Primorye are currently underway.

Trailers created during the project will be shown on the TV channel “Russia-1″ in 2015.
