An exhibition of works by the IV Most Beautiful Country photo contest participants is now open at Vnukovo international airport. The pictures have decorated the waiting area on the third floor of terminal A.
Vnukovo international airport is one of the largest air transport complexes in Russia. Every year the airport serves more than 170 thousand flights of Russian and foreign airlines. Its route network covers the entire territory of Russia, as well as neighboring countries, Europe, Asia and Africa.
The exposition includes 28 images that show Russia’s beauty and unique nature, its cultural and historical heritage. There is the Putorana plateau, Ladozhskoye Lake, the Sayan range and other beautiful places in the pictures.

The “Most Beautiful Country” photo contest is an annual event, a large-scale media project of the Russian Geographical Society aimed at preserving the nature of Russia and promoting an attitude of care towards the environment. It was first held in 2015. About 400 thousand pictures have been uploaded to the website of the contest for 4 years. There are neither age nor location limits to enter the contest. The main condition is that photos submitted to the contest should have been taken in the territory of Russia
It should be noted that works by Most Beautiful Country photo participants are exhibited in different Russia’s regions and abroad. Passengers at Moscow railway stations, Domodedovo airport and Krasnoyarsk international airport have already had an opportunity to see unique pictures of the Most Beautiful Country.
The exhibition will run until December 18.
