On Saturday, April 21, an environmental cleanup will take place in Krasnaya Presnya Park. For those who will come to help clean up the park, the Russian Geographical Society has prepared an interesting program: volunteers will enjoy lectures and film shows dedicated to protection of nature and lives of all of living creatures and systems on the Planet.
The event will start at 11 a.m. with a lecture by Alexander Sovetov, a traveler and member of the Russian Geographical Society. The author of a pedestrian route "The Green Ring of Moscow" passing through the parks, embankments and green areas of the capital will speak about where pristine natural beauty can be found in Moscow.
In the afternoon film shows will take place. The audience will see a documentary ‘Land of Franz Josef’ and three films of the "Protected Russia" series..
