The meeting of youth clubs of the Russian Geographical Society took place in Yakutsk. Active members and leaders of youth clubs of the Russian Geographical Society of the Far Eastern and Siberian federal districts of Russia participated in it.
The Russian Geographical Society Youth Meeting is an annual event organized for experience exchange and improvement of skills of leaders and representatives of youth clubs of the Society. In 2018 for the first time, the Youth Meeting will be held in several regions of this country: Kabardino-Balkaria, the Sverdlovsk and Kaliningrad regions.

During the week, the young people participated in trainings and master classes. Representatives of the Executive Directorate of the Russian Geographical Society spoke about how to interact with media and create unique content, implement scientific and social projects, as well as how to organize youth clubs.
The participants took part in different meetings where activists and leaders discussed possible joint projects, current problems and how to solve them.
