Primorye - physical and geographical area, part of the Amur-Sakhalin region of the country and the Far East, covering the southern part (Zaamursky) of Khabarovsk Krai and Primorsky Krai of Russia. Nature of the region is exceptionally diverse, it combines elements of natural areas of temperate and subtropical zones. The strong influence of the ocean, as well as the fact that Primorye is located in a place where the world biggest ocean meet the world largest continent, in general, provide a specific kind of weather. Spring in Primorye is long, often windy and cloudy. Summer and autumn in the region come late, due to the influence of the ocean. Winter is cold for such low latitudes, due to the influence of the winter monsoon which brings the cold air from the depths of the continent.
Among many attractions of this region the Pacific coast and the striking beauty of its landscapes deserves special attention.
