Gum-Bashi is considered to be the highest mountain pass in Russia, through which the highway passes. It is also called the Mariinsky Pass. The serpentine spreads for 10 km. It runs through picturesque meadows and pastures of horses. And at the top of the pass there is an observation deck with a view of the Biychesyn and Elbrus plateaus. Photo: Vadim Korkin
