Activist of the Murmansk Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, analyst of the Kola Scientific Center Grigory Ilyin won a trip to Cherepovets in a lecturer competition

Grigory Ilyin takes an active part in the activities of the Murmansk Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society. On October 27, 2021, as part of the events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the KSC RAS, the Chairman of the Murmansk Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society Denis Moiseev awarded Grigory Ilyin with a membership card. Earlier Grigory Ilyin restored the route of the great traveler A.F. Middendorf in the Khibiny mountains making it possible to decide on the placement of the Middendorf's memorial plaque installed in Khibiny on the initiative of the Murmansk Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society.

Within the framework of the All-Russian competition “League of Lecturers”, anyone could try their hand as a lecturer, find their audience and improve public speaking skills. Grigory successfully passed the qualifying stage and reached the semifinals in the online competition held from September 22 to October 8. He was awarded a tourist trip around Russia from the autonomous non-profit organization "Russia is a country of opportunities" for interesting lectures and engagement in various activities. An interesting trip to the Vologda region with a visit to Cherepovets is planned for the spring of 2022.

After analyzing his performances and lectures of his rivals, Grigory took into account what else is worth working on, and intends to participate in the competition next year.
