This spring, the project of the Murmansk Regional Branch of the RGS, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation and the 100th anniversary of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Murmansk region, became one of the winners in the grant competition of the Ministry of Culture of the Murmansk region. The project implementation plan includes publishing a book dedicated to the activities of the Prosecutor's office, as well as holding a series of cultural and educational events. The work on the book was carried out in close cooperation with the regional supervisory authority, and in cooperation with the Global Media agency, one of the region's leaders in the publishing field.
In the near future, there will be a series of events educating people on the activities of the Prosecutor's office and serving as a tool for fostering patriotism and civic engagement among residents of the Murmansk region. Participants will learn about the history of the emergence, formation and development of this important state institution protecting law and order, as well as about the people who stood at its origins, including in the Murmansk region.
