The Russian Geographical Society announces the International contest "Create the Night of Geography 2022 symbol". We are accepting your bright and memorable works until April 30 inclusive. The winners will receive souvenirs with the symbols of the Russian Geographical Society.
Anyone can become a co-author of the official symbols of the "Geography Night – 2022" action, regardless of age and place of residence. Each participant has the right to submit no more than three variants of the symbol/emblem of the contest.
The images should be in PDF or JPG formats. The symbols participating in the contest must meet the following requirements:
- originality and uniqueness - the contest participants guarantee that they are the authors of the submitted graphic works;
- the symbols must not repeat, duplicate or otherwise coincide with the emblems of other companies and campaigns, they also must not be confusingly similar to symbols previously registered as trademarks;
- the content of images of symbols must not contradict public interests, as well as the principles of humanity and morality (must not contain profanity, insults, signs of discrimination, calls for violence, promote an unhealthy lifestyle, and so on);
- emblems must not include textual indications or graphic images of the words "Russian Federation" or "Russia", as well as words derived from these names;
- images must not contain graphic or textual indications of the names or pseudonyms of people known in the Russian Federation.
We remind you that you can apply for participation in the contest until April 30, 2022 inclusive. Up to three people can become winners. Their names will be announced no later than May 20. After the announcement, the winners will need to submit their symbols in Ai or Eps, A4 format, indicating the color palette of the logo in CMYK and attach the fonts they used in the design of the symbol to the letter.
