During the meeting, the participants discussed the strategic objectives and the MASU development program for 2022-2035, the research and innovation activities of the university, the role of MASU in the staff training system of the Arctic region.
During the meeting, Denis Moiseev handed over books on geography from the Murmansk Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society to the rector of MASU, Irina Shadrina, and told about each of them. The books will be a great addition to the MASU library fund and will be of interest to both students and teachers.

The following books were presented to the MASU:
1. Memoirs of P.P. Semenov-Tyan-Shansky (5 volumes)
2. The Yearbook of the Russian Geographical Society. Russia in the global environmental space
3. Red wings over the Arctic
4. Proceedings of the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "Security of the Arctic frontiers: ecology, history, images of the future" in Russian and English. The conference is organized by the Murmansk Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society annually, it is attended by speakers from different cities of Russia, Norway and other Arctic countries. MASU actively supports the conference. Last year, the first international conference “Security of the Arctic frontiers ecology, history, images of the future" was held in MASU. 5. The book "On Franz Josef Land. Based on the data of the 1985 historical expedition." (3 copies). The book was published on the initiative of the Murmansk Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society in 2021. Additional materials about the book can be found here.
