Murmansk Regional Scientific Library on April 8 will host the presentation of the report of the Complex Expedition of the Northern Fleet and the Russian Geographical Society "Remember the War". It is the largest expedition in the history of the Russian and Soviet Navies. The participants of the event, which will begin at 15:00 in the Murmansk Regional Scientific Library, will get a chance to see the Crystal Compass award — the geographical Oscar, won by the Northern Fleet and the Murmansk Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society for the first season of the Expedition.
The scientific director of the expedition, Captain 1st Rank Alexey Kornis, will tell about the results of the second season. He will share the successes and difficulties faced by the project participants, the most interesting and vivid impressions of the unique work in the area of responsibility of the Northern Fleet. In addition, he will announce some of the plans for the new 2023 season. The second season of the "Remember the War" project turned out to be successful and productive, and thanks to the high assessment of the work carried out, the command of the Northern Fleet decided to continue the expeditionary work. Traditionally, the audience will be able to ask the speaker questions.
The participants of the awarding ceremony will share their impressions about the expedition and the victory in the competition for the Crystal Compass. After the event, everyone will be able to take a picture with the famous statuette.
The presentation of the report of the Complex Expedition "Remember the War" will be held in the Podium Hall of the Murmansk Regional Scientific Library on the 4th floor. It starts at 15:00.
