Head of the Scientific and Innovation Department of the Murmansk Construction College , associate professor, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Vladimir Rybkin: "In his books, Vasily Belousov shows the destinies of people very accurately and briefly, and always in a kind manner. His lifestyle is to be kind to people, and this style is manifested in his books. Journalism is a dangerous profession, some articles are full of bitterness, some show that the authors are unhappy with their own lives. But when we read Vasily Belousov's articles, we see that he considers himself a happy person. This person, despite the difficulties, always sees the light in the future. This is a great personal talent."

This year, the second, expanded edition of the book "Murmansk described by TASS: whatever was done is done" was also published. Since 1977, Vasily Belousov has been TASS's correspondent for the Murmansk Region. The first edition was published in 2008 for the 70th anniversary of the Murmansk region. The new edition contains about 1,000 reports on the news of the region in 1977-2017, transmitted to TASS by Vasily Belousov directly from the field. The book can rightfully be called the "encyclopedia of the Kola Region".
