In 2021, the village of Krasnoshchelye celebrated its 100th anniversary. On March 27-28, reindeer sledding races were held in Krasnoshchelye as part of the annual "Holiday of the North". Murmansk photographer, a member of the RGS for the Murmansk Regional Branch Vitaly Novikov took part in the events.
