On October 27, 2021, as part of the events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the KSC RAS, an RGS membership cards distribution ceremony took place. The cards were gived to the leading employees of the Kola Scientific Center and the project manager of the MRB RGS.The ceremony was held during the opening of the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "Security of the Arctic frontiers: ecology, history, images of the future".

27 октября 2021 г. в рамках мероприятий, посвященных 90-летию КНЦ РАН, состоялась торжественная церемония вручения членских билетов РГО. Их получили ведущие сотрудники Кольского научного центра и менеджер по проектам МОО РГО. Мероприятие прошло во время открытия II Международной научно-практической конференции “Безопасность арктических рубежей: экология, история, образы будущего”.

On October 27, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Security of the Arctic Frontiers: ecology, history, images of the future" was held in the Kola Scientific Center with some of the participants attending online using ZOOM platform. The Murmansk Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society coordinated the event.

On October 24, the partners of the Murmansk Regional Branch of the RGS from the Partisan Museum in Kiberg, the Norwegian Pomor Academy and the municipality of Vardø honored the memory of Soviet soldiers and Norwegian partisans.
